The UTi Rhodes Trail Run, South Africa\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s iconic breathtaking trail race, is a 52km event staged in the Southern Drakensberg of South Africa. The event starts in the hamlet of Rhodes at an altitude of 1800m. The route takes in the legendary Mavis Bank (at one stage the gradient is 1:3) heading across the Ben MacDhui snowfields to Lesotho View (at 2680m on the Lesotho border) and Hooggenoeg Ridge before returning to Rhodes via the jarring Carlislehoek.
