| I got into AR world as a natural follow on from hill running, orienteering and mountain biking. I have competed internationally in adventure and multi-sport races in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Thailand, Malaysia, Guadoulope and in orienteering events in Australia, S America and Europe including MTBO World Championships. I like to compete hard and with a "team comes first" attitude, be toward the business end of the races where possible and enjoy the craic at the party afterwards. I stongly believe that the strength of a group of like minded individuals operating in unison as a single team is immeasurable and enjoy opportunities of being part of such teams in adventure races. I hope to take that philosophy to a further level with a successful 2009 racing season with the No Frontiers squad with the aim to secure a top ten placing at the Abu Dhabi Adventure challenge in December. |
