I grew up in a family of orienteers. Every Sunday since the age I started walking I was running round forests with a map and a compass. Holidays have always been spent in the great outdoors on a bike, hiking or orienteering. Things haven't changed much and I still love getting out into the forests, mountains and fells! I competed for the British Squad in orienteering and so have always been quite competitive.
My introduction to AR was through my sister who competed a few years ago and when she told me about the races she was doing I was itching to have a go. So a couple of years ago whilst competing in the KIMM (now known as the Original Mountain Marathon) I was chatting to Chris and Ed (my team mates) who seemed equally as keen... so there it began and Team Boosh was formed! |

| AR worst moment | Admitting defeat and having to retire in the above race- our ultra lightweight packing wasn't quite enough at minus 8 degrees! |
