Baja Travesia 2008 comes to an end – 15 of 18 teams making it home fully ranked.

and while we all prepare for tonight’s fiesta, teams Equinox and El Rey Azul are working their way out of the canyon to get to the party on time!

Kayak Lake Mead looked great, as if they were just out for a day-hike, and Goldrush/Racing with Giants also looking strong but ready for the finish line.

The women marched through at midnight, currently in 7th place, followed by Dirty Avocados Too

In an almost repeat performance of the battle for third, Bosi edges out the Pandas in a final kayak sprint for fifth place.

Yoga Slackers barely hold on to third place, in a heart-stopping kayak sprint to the finish line.

Superb athletes and great friends, the two teams crossed the finish line in Ensenada together this morning.

Both teams get churned through the washing machine, all the way back to shore, before the final kayak section gets cut to a beach run.

DART-nuun/NW headed into the canyon with a 2.5 hour lead – both teams emerged together 13 hours later.
