Author : Press Release

All Out Events, home of the largest and longest running adventure series of its kind, is back at it again, hosting both The 12 Hour Adventure Race. The three things that are essential in completing a 12-hour race are perseverance, a sense of adventure and just a little preparation.

The Dawn to Dusk Adventure Race takes place on Saturday, October 21st, starting at 7am. This event incorporates 6-8 miles of ocean kayaking, 15-25 miles of mountain biking, 10-15 miles of foot travel including technical trail running/scrambling/swimming/lots of sand, and Tyrolean. No marked trail.  No aid stations. Just you and/or your team navigating across the mountains, trails and water. Racers will receive a map for checkpoints, but are not given an assigned course. Entries start at $260, which includes a shirt, a finisher prize, and various cash prizes!

“I figured it’d be tough. I was worried about everything: where would we be going, how would I know what the hell I was supposed to be doing, did I bring the right stuff? 1st time in a race my goal was to not die. This is not some canned race, I did have that “gulp” feeling that I could get eaten by a mountain lion, fall off a cliff or heat stroke.” –Past Racer
