Kayak London by Night

As the light start's to fade join us for an evening paddle right through the Centre of London. Seeing all of London's landmarks brightly bathed in light, Houses of Parliament, St Paul's, Bank Side, The City Tower Bridge, Old Naval College to name a few. This is an evening paddle starting at Vaxhaul Bridge and finishing at Greenwich. The trip is a good 2 to 2.5 hours. and is planned to coincide with the falling tide, making the trip suitable for all abilities. Cost per person is £55.
We use stable double kayaks with rudders, all kit provided and staffed by professional guides. The trip is for adults only. London Kayak Company is a British Canoeing Approved Paddle Sports Provider and compliant with the Port of London Authority.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

The event is for adults only.

What are my transport options and where do we start the trip.

We will be on the beach at the location below, which is at Vaxhaul on the south side of the river close to the bridge, nearest tube station is Vaxhaul. Head to the river and you will see us on the beach with the yellow kayaks. Use the address 67-68 Albert Embankment, Lambeth, London SE1 7TP, we are on the riverside which is just behind Mi6 ( Home of James Bond).
The trip will finish at Greenwich next to the Old Naval College, and 10 minutes walk to DLR station.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Bring comfortable clothes to paddle in, dress for the weather including a pair of training shoes you don't mind getting muddy. We supply all equipment including good quality waterproofs. Also bring a complete change of clothes. Don't worry you will stay warm and pretty dry right throughout the trip.
