Length: 30 hours
Location: Jefferson National Forest, Amherst, VA

The Happy Mutant returns to the east coast with this North American Adventure Racing Series event in one of the most historically rich regions of the country for up to 30 hours of adventure goodness hosted by the Lazy Days Winery.

Adventure racers from around the country and up and down the east coast will compete solo or in teams of 2/4 people covering up to 175 miles in 24-30 hours in an unsupported fashion. This part of the State contains one of the coolest trail systems, incredible paddle sections, single track to make you smile and some of the most hospitable folks around. Bone-jarring double track and buttery smooth single track await our intrepid teams.

24-hour teams will be limited to one (1) 45-gallon gear bin. Camping is available at Lazy Days for all racers.

This event is NAARS sanctioned, all participants must have an active membership. Annual and one-day memberships will be available at check-in. For HMARS Rules and Gear List please go to www.thehappymutant.com
