ROOTS training DAY
The Training DAY event is designed to help people make the leap from local 10km runs in to the exciting kick ass world of adventure racing.
Come and meet others looking to learn new skills or drag along your mates who think you are crazy for doing these epic events and races.
Your DAY will start with a navigation workshop before you are let lose around the ROOTS adventure course. You will navigate to check points where you will recive tuition on a hosts of skills necessary for the life in the outdoors.
Face your fears with some rock climbing and abseiling. Learn to survive with some bush craft tuition. Get to grips with some knots as you construct your own equipment!
Entry comes with two nights accommodation with full access to a hot shower and a warm bed. You will also get a hot pizza and cold beer as you cross the finish line to get you in the mood for the after party!
