Baw Baw Extreme, Australian toughest One Day multisport challenge, is back on the weekend of 15-16 October. This epic Multisport race is designed for elite athletes and weekend warriors keen to explore the scenic terrain of Baw Baw region, challenge themselves and compete against the tough course and each other.
An epic and spectacular 84 km course will start in historical gold-mining Walhalla township with 5 km run to the Thompson Railway Station, followed by 14,5 km paddle on Thompson river with up to grade 2 rapids to the Bruntons Bridge. The next leg is 40 km mountain bike section, where racers will discover sections of Erica mountain bike park trails as well as local 4wd roads. The final leg is a 25 km gruelling trail run along the Australian Alps walking track where racers will climb to the altitude of 1500 meters before reaching a long-awaited finish line in the heart of Baw Baw Alpine Resort.
While the One Day athletes complete the distance in a day, the majority of competitors take two days to cover the same course, with an overnight camp in the middle of MTB leg in Erica.
One-Day Solo competitors will race for a share of the $4000 cash pool.

Additionally, they will receive $AJ vouchers that can be used towards other event entries.
All other categories will receive $AJ vouchers with the total prize pool being over $4000.
