GBC 500 is a challenge that can be tackled alone or with a partner, in complete autonomy, with no assistance, on the Eastern Townships’ most beautiful roads.
The course’s level of difficulty can only be matched by its great beauty… and shall be directly related to the speed and intensity participants choose to adopt.
Some will aim to beat a personal record whereas others will take up to 6 days to complete this great two-wheel adventure. In any event, our goal of creating a great challenge for athletes and sports enthusiasts that also provides the opportunity to discover our fabulous region, the Eastern Townships, its inhabitants, the delicious local products shall be reached.
The checkpoints along the course are located in local businesses such as restaurants, bakeries, cafés, ice cream shops, etc. Beyond fostering the exploration of the region’s beauty and geographical assets, we wish to create a cultural tourism experience that highlights local services and products we love.
