The Rajd Beskidy Short Course is the ARWS Regional Series race. It is an adventure race with a mountainous character. The route passes through Poland and the Czech Republic, crossing the border multiple times.
In order to complete the entire route, participants must demonstrate a high level of physical and mental endurance, as well as teamwork skills. They must also possess navigation skills and technical skills in climbing and mountain biking.
The organizer plans for the race to consist of seven stages: three trekking, three biking, and one kayaking. Additionally, the organizer has planned climbing challenges, such as a rope bridge and rock climbing on routes rated III-IV UIAA, as well as special navigational tasks.
Most stages end in the same location – at the race base, which will significantly simplify logistics for competitors. They will have access to their belongings, and there will be no need for bike boxes.
Competitors will receive various maps – in addition to basic maps, also supplementary maps: lidar, orienteering maps, and satellite images.
The total distance is approximately 220 km, with an elevation gain of around 5,000 meters. The time limit is 32 hours.
