The first-ever Oak Mountain Adventure Race (OMAR) will occur on Saturday, March 25th, 2023. The race will start at the South Trailhead Parking inside Oak Mountain State Park in Birmingham, Alabama. Teams will explore the mountains, creeks, waterfalls, lakes, trails, and beautiful woods inside Oak Mountain State Park, home of the best mountain bike trails in Alabama. The park has over 50 miles of trails and just started developing over 1,500 new acres of land, which will be open to the race soon. Divisions include solo, 2-, 3-, or 4-person teams, coed or open (same-sex), and a Master's division.
