There are only two weeks left to enter the world’s toughest adventure race and put your body and mind to the ultimate test of endurance and fortitude. Every edition of Red Bull X-Alps is tougher than the last and the 2021 edition is no different. If you are ready to participate in this unique race then make sure to send in your application.

Whether you’re a rookie or a seasoned pro, this race takes more than just fitness; you have to be a mountain expert in all alpine sports disciplines, be an excellent pilot and above all, you need to have the mental strength to push through every single challenge that comes your way.

Make sure you get your entries in at redbullxalps.com because the application phase closes on August 31, 2020. It’s time to find out if you’ve got what it takes to hike and fly over 1,000km through the beautiful but treacherous Alps.

Some people are looking to break their personal records, whilst others are looking to break world records. Some have even broken altitude and distance records, climbed Mt Everest more than once and ascended El Capitan solo three times. These are just a few of the unbelievable achievements listed in the Red Bull X-Alps 2019 athletes’ applications.

You should be quick on your feet and a fast thinker with excellent navigation and problem-solving skills. If you are sitting there shouting, „That’s me!“ then make sure you get your application in for Red Bull X-Alps 2021 because the submission is only open for two more weeks, until August 31, 2020, before the race committee selects the best of the best.

"To give a number, [I look for] 300 hours per year and minimum five years flying - and these flights should be cross-country in the mountains. The most important point is safety, it will be crucial that they have the experience of bigger competitions.“ - Christoph Weber, Race Director

The official 2021 athletes will be announced on October 14, 2020, and the race begins on June 20, 2021! Simply visit redbullxalps.com to fill out the application form and follow us on social media to stay up to date with all the latest information, dates, and even more valuable livestreams with athletes.
