KronplatzKing 2021 – 100 Percent Made in Italy

With only a few weeks left until the start of the KronplatzKing 2021, race organisers of the spectacular one-day mountain bike challenge through the South Tyrolean alpine world have presented this year's jersey partner. On August 28, 2021, all male competitors will were a silver-coloured knight look jersey produced by Italian manufacturer Parentini while the female participants tackle one of the two distances wearing a fuchsia outfit with both being be part of this year's starter package.
A total of up to 800 mountain bikers, including numerous stars of the scene, are expected to either tackle the "KINGMarathon" with a length of 73 km and 3,250 metres of climbing or try their hand at the "PRINCEClassic" route with a length of 49 km and 2,160 metres of climbing.
In order to prevent a cancellation due to bad weather conditions like last year, OC head Maurizio Kastlunger has already scheduled a possible alternative date for August 29, 2021: “After last year's experience, the race will take place on Saturday this year, so that we can switch to Sunday in case of bad weather.”
Online registration is still open until the end of August. Participants of last year's edition, which was cancelled due to heavy rain fall, can still secure their discount of € 25 until the end of June. Otherwise, the following price scale still applies:
