Press Release / 23.03.2022
XTERRA has officially opened its new Chinese base in the Yangcheng Lake Peninsula National Tourist Resort at Suzhou Industrial Park in eastern China.
The new hub will enable the local team to support outdoor sports enthusiasts and help to deliver outdoor experiences across China.
The XTERRA China headquarters will be based at Lotus Lake Park, Yangcheng Lake Peninsula. This park covers an area of approximately 790,000 square metres, of which the water surface area is about 200,000 square metres.
The design idea behind the park is focused around the idea of ‘Zen’, with the natural landscape helping to create a quiet and comfortable environment for visitors who can enjoy being close to nature.
The headquarters also has good transport links, just 45 minutes from Suzhou City Centre and 90 minutes from Shanghai City Centre.
XTERRA adds that… ‘Lotus Lake Park has an authentic, wild and natural landscape as well as deep cultural roots, which are consistent with the brand DNA of XTERRA.
‘XTERRA looks forward to hosting various sports and environmental protection activities throughout the year at its news headquarters, and establishing a new hub for sports, culture and sustainability in Yangcheng Lake Peninsula.’
