This year the world-renowned five-day HIMALAYAN 100 MILE STAGE RACE is starting from October 30, 2022, to November 3, 2022 in Darjeeling, India. This race has successfully completed its 30 years and even during the pandemic this event was organized virtually.

The race has been covered by many world-famous sports journalists, magazines and adventure sports websites. There is so much to see, feel and realize and  runners often describe this event as their “ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME EXPERIENCE”.

While running, one can enjoy the amazing views of four out of the five highest mountains in the world (Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, and Makalu).

It's possible to participate individually or in a group with your friends/family members, and there are two categories “Runners” and “Walkers”. Any sport-loving people of all ages can participate.

The five-day race is divided into 24-20-26-13-17 miles. Walkers can walk and if needed jeep support is there.

It is one of the most stunning and spectacular endurance running races in the world.

The unrivaled Himalayan views on the 100 Mile Stage Race attracts international runners and walkers, and the race is packaged as a week long trip including a day trip to the historic hill station of Darjeeling and a ride on the UNESCO-acclaimed Darjeeling range of mountains, railway, and a narrow-gauge steam train normally called the “Toy Train”.

There are also two days of additional sightseeing, one day to visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort and the second day for Delhi sightseeing accompanied by a local guide.
