Kronplatz King 2023 Registration starts on 1 November
Press Release / 24.10.2022
After the successful sixth edition of the spectacular mountain bike race this summer, the organisers of the classic race through the South Tyrolean mountains have set the date for next year's edition. The Kronplatz King 2023 will take place on 2 September.
The participants can also look forward to a valuable starter package next year. In addition to a Parentini cycling jersey, personalised water bottles will also be available.
Online registration for the race at Kronplatz opens on 1 November 2022 and again offers reduced entry fees for early bookers.
From 1 November to 31 December 2022, registration for the only mountain bike marathon with eight kilometres of freeride descents, a single trail section of nine kilometres and a mountain finish at an altitude of 2,275 m costs only € 75 and thus €15 less compared to later registrations for one of the two distances.
In addition, all those who have already taken part in the Kronplatz King once will receive a special discount of € 20 if they register again by 31 March 2023.
The discount code can be requested by email to mtb@kronplatzking.com.
For the sixth edition of the Kronplatz King, mountain bikers have the option of either tackling the "KINGMarathon" with a length of 64 km and 3,150 metres of climbing or trying their hand at the "PRINCEClassic" route with a length of 49 km and 2,130 metres of climbing.

About the Kronplatz King
Every year since 2016, 800 mountain bikers have stormed from St. Vigil in the direction of Kronplatz to secure the coveted title of Kronplatz Queen and Kronplatz King. This year was the sixth edition.
The field is spread over two routes of different lengths, on which it is not only about winning the race, but also about points for the Marathon-Man Europe, a marathon race series in Europe.
