A Mammoth new race for South Africa

The Adventure Racing World Series (ARWS) Africa Series is thrilled to announce the upcoming Mammoth Woodridge Adventure Race, happening this weekend on April 21-23, 2023. This exciting event is the first of its kind and is hosted by Mammoth Adventure Racing at Woodridge College, in the stunning Eastern Cape region of South Africa.

The Mammoth Woodridge Adventure Race offers an unforgettable experience for adventure enthusiasts of all levels, with three distance options to choose from: 25km, 75km, and 200km. Each course is designed to test participants' endurance, navigation skills, teamwork, and mental toughness, as they tackle some of the most challenging and breath-taking terrain South Africa has to offer.

The 25km course is perfect for beginners who want to dip their toes into the world of adventure racing, while the 75km and 200km courses provide a challenge for even the most seasoned athletes. All three courses will take participants through the Eastern Cape's magnificent landscapes, with checkpoints placed strategically to challenge their route-finding skills and navigation.

The Mammoth Woodridge Adventure Race is the second event on the ARWS Africa Series calendar, which is designed to prepare participants for the ARWS World Championships taking place in October 2023 in the Eastern Cape. The ARWS Africa Series is a build-up to the World Championships, giving participants the opportunity to hone their skills and gain valuable experience.
