By winning the second of three stops of the Scott Enduro Series which took place at the 21stBIKE Festival Willingen today, Christian Textor (GER) took over the lead in the ranking and looks good to become the first ever title winner of the tour which came to life this year.

The Team Bulls athlete dominated five of six stages in the Hochsauerland region and therefore clocked in the best time of 10:22.57 keeping his international rivals within compass.

Rank two went to Fabian Heim (GER; 10:34.27), rank three to top rider Michal Prokop (CZE, 10:35.54) who remains Textor's main competitor for the series' crown but lost some precious ground again.

Already at the tour opener in Riva del Garda three weeks ago, the 2016 German Champion had placed third and therefore one rank better than the Czech.

On the women's side of things, Stefanie Monshausen (GER; 13:52.42), who had missed the event at Lake Garda, walked away with the win.

The season's final is slated to take place on 1 September, 2018, as part of the BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang in Austria.
