AR on AR #11: Pace Counting and Tracking Time

15.10.2020

© youtube

It's not enough to just know how to travel on a compass bearing; you also want to know how much ground you've covered, so that you know if you're near the checkpoint or not.

This episode covers two ways of measuring distance:

- Timing your movement
- Counting your paces (on trekking legs)

Tools include using a stopwatch and ranger beads a.k.a. pacing beads.

The whole team should understand and be able to use these skills.
