AR on AR #13: Food For A Short Race
This episode covers a broad range of options for fueling your race, from synthetic sports powders to cold burgers and crisps. In a short race (ie less than 24hrs) you can get away with eating almost anything, as most competitors aren't burning at top speed or for very long. Some foods are carbohydrate-based while others are more fat-based products.
Longer races / expedition races have different requirements and will be looked at in another episode.
