The DuO Adventure race is a combination of mountain bike and foot orienteering in an adventure race format. The courses suit all levels of competitors with a combination of MTB/Run stages of around 30 min duration for each stage.The course lengths vary depending on the locations. The course maps are pre marked!
For the MTB stage the competitors collect controls in order and on the foot stage it may be a scatter course where the competitor chooses which controls they visit.
Entry will be online through the OANSW website and closing at least one week prior to the event.
The Western Sydney Regional Park is a great area for an MTB ride, single track to open grass tracks around the Olympic Equestrian Centre.
The foot courses will be mainly in the open parkland areas, great running area with tricky navigation.
These events are an ideal introduction to adventure racing, ride fast, run fast and think fast or just take your time!
