The Adventure Racing World Championships of 2023 were held in South Africa in the Eastern Cape, and it was an epic for the ages. This episode covers some of the tips, tricks and lessons learned from the race that might be useful for you, especially if you're a newer racer, contemplating your first expedition length event.
ARonAR raced in British team BEACON ON SAFARI (#22), successfully covering the full course after 195hrs and 980km, an experience he finds himself reliving with eyebrow-raising frequency, and everlasting gratitude.
