Rajd Beskidy (short course) is held in Poland and Slovakia.
The total length of the race is about 200km and has a typical mountain character with about 5000 m of elevation gain.
The course consists of MTB, trekking, orienteering and kayak stages and climbing and navigation special tasks. Completing it requires very good navigation skills. Apart from basic maps the racers will be provided with special maps – satellite, lidar, etc.
The predicted time of the winning team is about 25 hrs.
Only very good phisically prepared teams with very skilled navigators will be able to complete the whole course.
Having very good skills in mountain biking is necessary as well. The slower teams will be forced to cut the course but all will experience the true nature of the race.
4-pers. mixed teams or 2-pers. any sex teams can participate in the race.
The finish line (for the long course too) is located at the base of the race so the finising teams will be greeted by fellow racers and all the teams at the race will create a big AR-family.
In 2024 Rajd Beskidy short course will be the Qualifier Race for ARWS European Region.
