Twenty-Five of the strongest teams from countries around the world will test their limits and compete for the main prize of the Adventure Racing European Championship 2017 during the world’s toughest non-stop multisport event: the Red Fox Adventure Race XVI powered by Polartec®.
For the first time the heat of competition for the AREC2017 will take place in one of the beautiful places of Europe – Karelia, on the northern coast of Ladoga Lake - from June 9-13, 2017.
We are expecting an exciting and beautiful race, with challenging routes requiring an emotionally fuelled athletic intensity for an uninterrupted 72-hours!
The winner of the AR Euro Champ will receive a financial reward equal to the entry fee and a wild card place for the AR World Champ event which takes place from the 8th to 16th of August in the USA!
The reward may be used to cover AR World Champ entry fee only and will be paid from ARES directly to the AR World Championship organizer. (If the winning team already has a spot in AR World Champ, the reward will roll down to the next placed team).
