Joint First at the Red Fox Adventure Race
On June 8-12 the more than 400 multisporters from Russia, Belarus, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, New Zealand, and Poland took part in the legendary Red Fox Adventure Race!
The 2019 Red Fox Adventure Race took place near Ladoga Lake - in one of the nicest areas of the Republic of Karelia (Russia). And for the eighth time the 2019 Red Fox Adventure Race was included in calendar of the AREuroseries!
The race was divided on two classes: Short (24 hours, 160 km) and Long (48 hours, 231 km)
The course was designed by Vitaly Chegarovsky, a master designer who weaves adventure through every step of the trail. The race began with a beautiful canoe stage, and it was a spectacular sight with more than two hundred kayaks on the line in anticipation of the start of the race.
Later, the participants were waiting for a rafting stage on a turbulent river on inflatable mattresses. There were no fixed requirements for the selection of boats, even inflatable crocodiles and unicorns were encountered! The stage turned out to be rich in emotions, both among the participants and the audience.
The teams also went through some complex of technical stages on Kilpola island, for example a bungee jump and a long coasteering stage which really tested their limits!
Two teams were competing for the gold medal in the Long class: Seiklushunt from Estonia and TRITON - POWERUP Adventure Team from Russia and in the end they scored equal points and claimed first place together!
Non-stop adventures, the beauty of the nature and even some nice weather - the 2019 Red Fox Adventure Race left teams with a lot of good impressions!
This year the Red Fox brand celebrated its 30th anniversary and for half of that time Red Fox has been connected with the adventures of Red Fox Adventure Race.
All of the participants of the Red Fox Adventure Race use Red Fox equipment and they know that Red Fox gives an opportunity to test your limits with the reliable gear.
