Ziener BIKE Festival Garda Trentino Powered by FSA to Kick Off European Mountain Nike Season

Same procedure as last years! The Ziener BIKE Festival Garda Trentino powered by FSA will traditionally kick off the European mountain bike season right at the shores of Lake Garda - this time over a total of four days. From April 28 till May 1, 2017, it’s the 24th consecutive time that mountain biking will take over centre stage in Riva del Garda, Italy with thrilling sport events as well as one of the world's biggest outdoor fairies therefore attracting around 40,000 spectators again.

More than 150 exhibitors and some 300 brands offer test products and events as well as special prices while also presenting the latest developments and products to an interested audience, always focusing on the dialogue between business and customers.

In addition, the BIKE Festival is also known for its outstanding events. The highlight of the weekend will take place on Saturday morning when international pros as well as amateurs compete in the Rocky Mountain BIKE Marathon. About 2,500 racers from more than 30 countries are expected to lock horns on four different courses.

While Ronda Facile (28.63 km, 702 m) and Ronda Piccola (44.24 km, 1,523 m) seem to be easy to master, Ronda Grande (73.94 km, 2,831 m) and especially Ronda Extrema (90.43 km, 3,838 m) are way more demanding. 

Above that, Enduro fans will also get their money's worth at the SCOTT North Lake Enduro race while the youngest can scent some contest air at the SCOTT Junior Trophy.

Other side events are the spectacular Garda Trentino Pump Battle which will kick off things at La Rocca Friday night, the brand new Bosch eMTB Challenge supported by Trek, Tom Oehlers's Trial Show presented by Crankworx Innsbruck & Kenda as well as the Open Night on Saturday and many more parties which will make the festival weekend true mountain bike holidays.
