Mystical Himalayan Passes on Day 5

Stage 4 began at Gada Gushani, leading to a stunning climb towards the first pass at a whopping 2720 metres, which was also the highest point for the day.
Following this an extremely fast dirt road which dropped to 1730 m in no time only to regain 800m in 7 extra steep kilometres welcomed the riders. Moving through the stunning deodar forests with some rocky roads, the riders reached the second pass of the day - MagruGalu. From Magrugalu, the riders under took the gravel road all the way to Thunag, riding across the virtual paradise on the Janjheli valley to the top of Raingalu.
Thomas Engelsgjerd maintained his lead in the fourth stage as well. Adria from the Buff Scot Team gave a tough fight to Thomas and landed on the second position by a gap of just one second. David Kumar of Team HASTPA Outdoors, has made the country proud and found himself a spot in the top 10.
Catherine Williamson showcased a strong comeback after losing 2 consecutive stages to Ilda Periera and finished first in the Open Women's category. She has won Hero MTB thrice before and is contending this year with a lead of about 8 minutes.
After covering a competitive distance of 77 kilometers the riders retreated at the final campsite at Bagshed to charge themselves for the next day.
