LOCATION
Izu-Inatori, Shizuoka Prefecture and Izu-Oshima island, Tokyo, Japan
[FULL COURSE] the registration will open at the parking area next to Higashi-Izu public town hall, Izu-Inatori Port, Shizuoka prefecture.
[HALF COURSE] the registration will open at Nakanohara Orchards, Izu-Oshima island, Tokyo.

Entry Fee
[FULL COURSE] (EARLY) – 40,000 Yen per person, 160,000 team (1,420 USD team, 1,240 EUR team); full fee paid by end July.
[FULL COURSE] (STANDARD) – 45,000 Yen per person, 180,000 team (1,600 USD team, 1,400 EUR team); full fee paid by end Aug.

[HALF COURSE] (EARLY) – 20,000 Yen per person, 60,000 team (540 USD team, 465 EUR team); full fee paid by end July.
[HALF COURSE] (STANDARD) – 25,000 Yen per person, 75,000 team (675 USD team, 585 EUR team); full fee paid by end Aug.

- Team name
- Information of a captain and team members (name, gender, address, mobile phone, blood type, e-mail address, for emergency contact person’s telephone and name)
An e-mail including payment information will be sent back by the organizer.

PRE-REQUISITES
[FULL COURSE] Each team must contain 4 people. FULL COURSE limit extended to 10 teams. All member will kayak by 2 tandem kayaks during the race.
[HALF COURSE] Each team must contain 3 people. HALF COURSE limit extended to 30 teams. No kayak section.
All team members must be a minimum of 13 years old (junior high school student) at the time of race. In the spirit of a true expedition teams are ‘unsupported’. Team member must have your own personal accident insurance.

INSURANCE
The event organizers will take out insurance, however, you must have your own personal accident insurance.

RACE EQUIPMENT
Teams are required to carry a number of items of mandatory equipment. Note, this is a list of mandatory items only, not a list of only what you should be taking. It is up to you to decide what equipment, in addition to the mandatory items, you will need to safely participate in RealQuest.

Abbreviations
 PP - means Per Person. That item is required by each person in the team.
 PT - means Per Team. That item is required by each team.
 PK - means Per Boat. That item is required in each kayak the team has.
 QTY - means Quantity. The quantity is left to team decision, though minimum is ONE.
