Yak Attack is the highest mountain bike race on Earth, climbing to the dizzying heights of 5416m above sea level. 9 stages, approx 500km, 15000m of overall altitude gain and a temperature range of +30c to -20c, tests the most hardened of riders.Now in its 11th year, Yak Attack will be taking the race into Upper Mustang for a second time. After crossing the formidable Thorong La, the race will head into the moon like landscape of the “Forbidden Kingdom” of Upper Mustang, which at an average elevation of 4000m is one of the remotest and untouched areas on planet Earth.
Yak Attack is internationally recognised as one of the toughest endurance races on the planet, and it just got tougher!
