Montane Adventure Race is an adventure race in Denmark that gives participants some unique experiences in nature of Sjælland. The main ingredients are orienteering, running, mountain biking, climbing and kayaking (master only). The participants as a team must be able to cooperate under mental and physical pressure from the route and nature. Each team consists of 2 or 3 people.

Montane Adventure Race has once again found a new route, new forests and experiences. The race has been run for 12 years and this year is run by Lars Bukkehave with great help from a fantastic crew. There will be plenty of challenges for both new and experienced adventure racers and there is a distance for everyone.

The race will this year take part in and around Roskilde, 30 min from the Airport by train. 

The master route has an estimated winning time of 12-14 hours.
The Challenge and Junior route is won in about 7-8 hours.
The fighter route is won in 3.5-4 hours.
The race includes running, mountain biking, climbing and the Master Route has a kayak stage and you must orientate between all checkpoints.
At the finish, a delicious buffet will be served to all participants.

NB. It is possible to rent a mountain bike for an extra payment of DKK 400 per bike, this is selected in the registration.
