Date for KronplatzKing 2021 Set - Registration Kicks Off In November
Press Release / 03.11.2020
Race organisers of the spectacular one-day mountain bike challenge through the South Tyrolean alpine world have set the date for next year's edition. The KronplatzKing 2021 will take place on August 28.
In addition, the team led by Maurizio Kastlunger has drawn conclusions from this season's race cancellation due to bad weather and therefore already scheduled a possible alternate date for August 29, 2021.
The online registration for the classic in the Puster Valley opens on November 1, 2020, offering early bird discounts again.
Until December 31, 2020, entries for the sole mountain bike marathon featuring eight kilometres of freeride descents, nine kilometres of single tracks and a summit finish on 2,275 metres are available for € 70 and are therefore € 20 cheaper than last minute registrations.
Participants who had signed in for this year's KronplatzKing MTB Marathon and are keen to enter the 2021 event again will benefit from a discount of € 25 if registering until July 31, 2021.
The sixth edition of the KronplatzKing will provide racers the possibility to chose from two different routes. The “KINGMarathon” leads over 73 km and 3,250 metres of climbing from start to finish while the “PRINCEClassic” is - featuring 49 km and 2,160 metres of climbing - significantly shorter.
