Alpine Quest Adventure Race Transalpine Edition set to be the Australia’s Toughest 48hr Expedition Race in 2022

On 11-12 November, the Victorian Alps once again will host the Alpine Quest, a spectacular and challenging expedition adventure race.
In 2022 the organisers set the bar high and announced the Transalpine 48hr edition.
Teams of four will traverse the Great Dividing Range through its Alpine section.
The endurance athletes will be packrafting, trekking, mountain biking, kayaking and abseiling around the Victoria’s highest peaks and plateaus for up to 48 hours non-stop.
The event is featuring two courses:
Expedition - a classic non-stop adventure race with a 48hr cut off;
Explore - a 2-day staged race with overnight stop.
The event is designed for teams of four with a Premier Mixed category, as well as Female and Male categories.

The race is supported by East Gippsland Shire Council and the race HQ is set high on the Dividing Range - Omeo, one of the best kept secret spots in Australia and affectionately known as the ‘City of the Alps’.
Registration is open on the event website www.alpinequest.com.au and teams can take advantage of early bird price till the 1st of March. Due to the race’s complex logistics, 25 Expedition and 15 Explore slots are available.
